Californians for Justice (CFJ)
Californians for Justice works on statewide public policy campaigns with an emphasis on public education, incarceration, and income. CFJ brings together people of color, young people, and poor people by leading large-scale community education efforts, training grassroots civil rights leaders, and mobilizing public support for major public policy change in California.

Coleman Advocates for Children and Youth
Coleman is a local child advocacy organization working to improve the well-being of San Francisco's children, youth and their families. Coleman combines policy expertise and savvy advocacy, with grassroots organizing and coalition building in San Francisco neighborhoods.

UCLA/IDEA: Institute for Democracy, Education, & Access
IDEA's works to make high quality public schooling and successful college participation routine occurrence in low income neighborhoods of color. Research and advocacy are the tools IDEA uses to empower individuals, build relationships, and create knowledge for civic participation and social change.

Youth Together
Youth Together addresses the root causes of educational inequities by developing multiracial youth organizers and engaging school community allies to promote positive school change.

Adolescent Health

The Institute for Community Research - National Teen Action Research Center
Uses participatory action research with youth for education and prevention purposes. Has developed a Participatory Action Research Curriciulum for Empowering Youth.

The John W. Gardner Center
The Gardner Center works to integrate a community youth development perspective into the practices of schools, local governments, regional institutions, and policymaking systems, with the ultimate goals of maximizing the responsiveness of these systems to youths' developmental needs. Has developed a curriculum, Handbook for Supporting Youth Researchers, which is available to download from their website.

Provides guidance on using photography as a vehicle for social change.

CompassPoint
CompassPoint Nonprofit Services is a comprehensive source for capacity building and training. It regularly offers a training on "Program Evaluation" which introduces the key concepts of program evaluation and a step by step process for designing evaluations.

Harvard Family Research Project
HFRP strives to increase the effectiveness of public and private organizations and communities as they promote child development, student achievement, healthy family functioning, and community development. Publishes the Harvard Evaluation Exchange.

Imoyase
