About Youth In Focus
Youth REP is about developing youth-serving organizations and communities in ways that include and empower young people. It's about fostering youth development and civic engagement by giving young people a chance to represent their own needs, gain valuable skills and networks, and collaborate with adults to make a difference. It's about supporting young people to be critical thinkers, effective leaders, and active change agents, and supporting adults to work in partnership with them.
Youth In Focus operates as an intermediary organization, offering a range of free and fee-based services to support Youth REP.
• Youth REP orientation workshops for youth groups, boards, staff, funders, and policy-makers
• Intensive Youth REP training and coaching on program development and implementation
• Consulting on relevant funder and policy initiatives
• Education and advocacy through presentations, training workshops, conference papers, publications, convening, and participation in related networks
• Curriculum development and dissemination to youth and adult practitioners, policy-makers, researchers/evaluators, and funders.
