About Youth In Focus

Since 1990, Youth In Focus has developed and field-tested Youth REP (Youth-led action Research, Evaluation and Planning) - a powerful technique for bringing young people's energy and information to bear upon social and organizational challenges. The crux of Youth REP is simple. Young people play lead roles in designing, doing, and following up on research or evaluation projects that could serve to change or initiate a program, organization, community initiative, organizing campaign, or policy that affects them and their peers. Initial projects often become the foundation of youth leadership in ongoing cycles of needs assessment, planning, action and evaluation.
